PROJECT: CAFÉ APP
In partnership with Citrine, Designete is to conceptualize an app for one of the leading local cafés.
Meetings were held with Citrine to understand the requirement of the app. Designete then proceeded to create UX, wireframes, to set the basic flow of the app. Interviews were conducted with the café owner to further analyse daily café operations, reservations, data collection, customers’ correspondences, type of menu, speciality items, promotion, rewards program, payment, etc. The app was revised with these functionality aiming to a holistic user experience for the customers.
Ordering systems and backend operations were also incorporated onto the app to cater to the customers as well as linking the order at the kitchen.
The concept of the app was then created with each screen to incorporate the flow and appealing at the same time.
The wireframe, UI and UX were then handed over to proceed Citrine with the development of the app.

It is imperative for a café app to leverage on the technology, mobile app, to better service from selecting an item from the menu to checking out with their fingertips. Customers can book a table ahead of time, or the restaurant is able to call the customer back when a table is available. The app also incorporates a loyalty program, new dish, delivery and many ways to retain the customer apart from having customer just checking the items on the menu.
